Would this apply to those Brits who are resident of France and Spain who also have gites and casitas for rent, or is it only Brits who live in the UK who have holiday homes in those countries? Is there a difference between residents and non residents in this respect? 😕
If the answer is yes to both then surely a lot more properties will be put on the market but then there will likely be CGT to pay 😯
I have always thought the next easy targets anywhere in the world are home owners, at some stage the UK could impose CGT on main home sales 🙄
