How do you know that the other holiday developments were O.V.P ?
Which ones were they ?
As an O.V.P INVESTOR OF A QUALITY APARTMENT how has your investment grown.
Sad to hear of your problems however sadly your not alone and am amazed that this companies antics have not been exposed that much in comparison to others.

They were in the OVP travel brochure. They offer each invester thae opportunity to let the property through OVP travel only if you allow them to furnish the apartment at a cost of 23000 euros including the air con. The other apartments have been great and we havnt had a problem obviously we thought our pad would be in a similar development and to a similar spec but it isnt unforunately and we didnt see it coming. The investment hasnt grown very much although it has taken 4.5 years to build when the estimated build was 24 months from sept 2003. and we know know we need to purchase the carparking if the apartment is to be attractive to buyers and this would wipe out any growth. if you take into account fees and capital gains etc. 😥 we are not sure what to do with it at the moment still checking out all avenues.
Lolly – take into consideration that to calculate ‘growth’ you need to know what it will actually sell for – not what the developer ahs them up for sale ot or what a bank valuation would be.
If you pm me the details of build size etc I can give you a rough guide of bank val against what you can reasonably expect for it – otherwise you could end up sitting with it for years!
We also bought on this site almost five years ago. Initially we bought an apartment with a standard size balcony, but then the agent stated that an apartment with ‘an amazing 130 m2 terrace had just become available’ It was sold to us as an excellent opportunity to maximise our rental potential (and sales, should we decide to sell and take a vast profit!) We paid an extra £50,000 for this terrace! On reflection how could we have been so stupid! If I’m honest, it was probably the green-eyed monster that took over!
We have smelt a rat with this company for the past couple of years. I think proof in the pudding being how (if you have noticed from pictures on the website) that has only recently shown pictures from the front of the property! I could rant on for ages about garage’s, fully fitted kitchens, gardened pool areas etc.. but now is not the time. We also discovered that there was a busy side road built just under our terrace.
We made a decision to contact an independent lawyer (who frequently contributes to this forum) and asked her to look at the contract. We documented all of our concerns together with copies of the dozens of e-mails between OV and ourselves.
Based on the advice, we made the decision to cancel our contract. I have to say that this was the best decision we have made in the past five years. Fortunately, it has been a relatively painless process and only this week we received a cheque for all of the monies we had paid them (together with a small amount of interest)!!
As someone else has already mentioned on this forum, it was a feeling of utter relief when it came through.
I have many thoughts about OV, which for the sake of censorship I will keep to myself, but I would urge you to have a lawyer review your situation and consider cancellation (especially in view of the latest updates from the site)
