Spanish home sales declined in October by 5% year-on-year, the first decline since January 2021, according to the latest figures from the Spanish notaries’ association. What does this mean for the Spanish property market? I discuss the latest figures in my first video analysis of the Spanish property market.
For 20 years now I’ve been presenting and analysing Spanish housing market figures, as they are released, in written articles that take more time to produce than I’d like to admit. Starting with this look at the October sales figures I’m switching to a video format that is quicker to produce, and I hope will give visitors to this website a better idea of where the market has come from, where we are, and where we might be heading than is possible to convey in a few hundred written words, when you don’t write like Hemingway.
This format has been facilitated by the new Spanish property market data hub that gives the data tables and charts needed to discuss the figures. Now I have the data and charts all in one place it makes it much easier to put together a video presentation of the latest figure as I hope you will see in the video below. The data hub has taken me most of the year to create and I think it’s fair to say is the only place you will find so much Spanish property market data all in one place. If you want access to the data hub and in-depth analysis I will produce giving you a deeper insight into the Spanish property market I invite you to to become an SPI subscriber.
So here’s my first video analysis of the market. It’s a first crack and I hope the presentation will get better with experience.

Been following your site, posts and now video data analysis for 20+ years. This new access to Market Data just takes everything to a whole other level and cements you if possible, even further ahead of any / every other research too or resource for looking at buying a property in Spain. Congrats and thanks.

Thanks Chris. It’s taken a lot of work to put it together. Nice to know it’s appreciated.
