BBC Travel Show asks if time is right to buy a home on the Costa Blanca

With property prices in the Costa Blanca lower than they were seven years ago, is now the right time for holiday-home hunters to dip their toes back into the water again?

That’s the question that BBC Travel Show presenter Ade Adepitan tries to answer, with a little help from Spanish Property Insight, in this episode of The Travel Show, focused on property in the Costa Blanca, in Alicante province.

Don’t understand why they showed such horrible properties, looked like correction centres! The one in Denia looked ok. But it was overlooking a children’s play area…lovely for a siesta.

I can understand buying to live although even that comes with concerns as to where and what, as well as thorough homework, but why take the risk with holiday homes especially in the light of Spain’s huge property crash? Who could say it wouldn’t happen again so surely safer to holiday in hotels etc as and when, and keeping your money intact?
