I have been advised that I now have to pay 24% tax on the Gross Holiday income with no allowance for any expenses as I am a non resident and now from a non EC country
Is this correct ? Are there any exemptions , ? Is it likely to continue ?

Yes, post-Brexit tax on rental income will be increased from 19 to 24%, with no tax relief allowed.
