Its not just the property market that will suffer, did anybody notice how quiet it was in the resturants on the cds this Easter, I remarked to one waiter how quiet it seemed and he said it was the worst Easter he could remember, and blamed it on the euro. Many brits will be staying at home this year due to the exchange rate and the cost of living increases in the UK., also many pensioners are feeling the pinch due to the decline of the pound.

Yes, the CDS does seem quiet, noticed it during the past few months. (officially 10% less Brits in Jan.)

Went to a restaurant 2 days ago that is usually always busy. Only 3 tables occupied, when we left at 10pm just 3 people left in and they were spanish.
