Hi,

I have to complete on a property that I bought off plan 2 years ago. I have to complete next June and I need to get a mortgage for about 60-65%. I know all about the unstability of the property market in Spain but I’m going to ride the storm as I feel it will be worth it in the long run, I’m not planning on a quick turn around.

I’m going for a Euro mortgage but I’m worried that I might not get one now. Can anyone offer any advice as to where to start looking? I understand the set up costs are more on a euro mortgage and I plan on letting the property to people in the Eurozone so I don’t get stung on the exchange rate.

Was there a mortgage on the table when you bought – there usually is if its a complex
If its a stand alone and dependent on where the property is try the likes of Caixa / Cajamurcia / Bancaja
