I am starting tommorow my 4 week trip to Spain (10 days near Barcelona, 1 week near Valencia, 10 days near Malaga – will be my first time in Malaga area). 50% work related.

I won’t look to buy property, maybe just asking here and there about the prices to make an idea.

Which can I find most accurate Spanish weather forecast? I checked many of them and they differ by at least 5-6 Celsius.

Its summer, do you really want to the know the forecast. Evan a few cloudy days bring relief.

There will be a difference of few degrees anyway between Barcelona, Valencia & Malaga and they have there own matrix.

Dont worry about the weather just enjoy.

The summer jetstream, that usually passes above Scotland, has once again moved below the UK and is swinging around the Bay of Biscay. Low pressure is attracted to this stream and hence weather patterns become unsettled and unpredictable. Spain is, I believe, experiencing more thunderstorms than normal.

Is this correct anyone?

Havent seen thunderstorms at all, but there were very high winds through the night and today its overcast and cloudy but still very warm, just no direct sun.

It’s because we’ve got it all in Crete 😛 – 40 degrees outside and the Cicadas are going ballistic.

Great film Charlie….

I love the sound of cicadas. Just been sailing around the islands of Southern Turkey and, wow, what a noise they made!

You’re going to Sydney. There’s a wood there called (or nicknamed) Cicada wood. Just north of the city. Ask the locals, they’ll point you in the right direction. The noise is so loud, you cannot here yourself speak. 😀

Charlie..you’re living in Crete, you lucky b*****r. Love Crete. I have happy memories of sleeping on the beach for a month, with my girlfriend, in a little fishing village called Malia. (It’s ok folks – I married her! 🙂 ) We pursuaded a fisherman to take us out to Spinalonga – the old leper colony. We were stepping over skeletons n open graves etc.

Malia’s a bit different now 🙁
