Marbella asking prices hit another all-time high in June

Asking prices in Marbella have risen every quarter since the start of 2014, and have doubled since the start of 2013.

The average asking price of property for sale in Marbella was 4,233 €/sqm in June according to data from the property portal Idealista, the highest level since records began.

The asking price in June was up 15% on the same month last year.

Using the first quarter of 2013 as the base period for an index, asking prices in Marbella have increased by just over 100% in the period (index now 201.5).

Asking prices have been rising strongly since the first quarter of 2021, as the market rebounded from the coronavirus pandemic. However, the rate of increase showed the first signs of cooling down in the second quarter of this year, as illustrated by the chart below.
