Asking prices stable in February

Resale asking prices were stable in February, according to data from Idealista, one of Spain’s largest portals.

Asking prices remained more or less unchanged on a monthly basis, at around 1,726 €/m2 according to the latest house price index (asking) from Idealista.

On an annualised basis, however, asking prices fell 5.3pc compared to 1,820 €/m2 in February last year. Annualised falls appear to be getting smaller, down from 6.6pc in January.

Asking prices in the Idealista database rose the most in the Canaries (+1.5pc) and fell the most in Aragon (-1.9pc).
