Just in the nick of time, Zapatero diverts the incoming jingle mail.

People are going to be helped such that they do not dare decrease the price as it would be a bad Omen.

I wonder how ignorant the politicians really are.

I love this quote ” The Spanish Banking Association offered its support to the move announced today.

“The banks are always ready to collaborate with the government in measures that help their clients. If this is a step in that direction, it can count on the sector’s support,” said a spokeswoman in a phone interview from Madrid.

When did a bank ever think of its client´s interests.?

      135years …. :
Of Course in Spain banks work in clients interest. Haven’t you noticed how many banks are there and how many branches they have to welcome their clients in gleaming air conditioned branches with piped music etc and all that glitters.

      Talking of banks…..
Abbey, owned by Spain’s Banco Santander, raised its rate by half a point for their tracker mortgages yesterday, just 48 hours before an expected 1 per cent cut in the Bank of England rate – killing off any benefit of the imminent cut.
      Aren’t they cute.

Come on. Hug a banker. Hands up those, who thought that banks were not fair weather friends.
