Just found out the cause of the chaos at T5 Heathrow and other BAA airports, apparently the huge Spanish jerry builders Ferrovial own BAA, (check their cr4p build at Alhaurin Golf etc) what re they like? More chaos to come for years methinks and long Court cases, pity the Abbey National customers in due course too! 😆
“Vanderlande Industries (automated material handling systems) achieved a net income of EUR 26.6 million in the financial year ending 31 March 2007, an increase of 89% over the preceding year, while net sales increased by 14% to EUR 496 million. Order intake at EUR 723 million was 80% above last year’s figure.
The company expects a further increase in net sales and net income in the coming financial year 2007/2008.
The number of employees, which rose by 182 to 1 533 (+14%) in the past year, will also continue to increase in the year ahead.
Peter Gerretse, President and CEO of Vanderlande Industries, commenting on these results:
“We can look back at our best year ever with net sales 14% higher and an almost doubling of our result. We have been successful in all business areas and were able to secure a large number of new orders.”
I wonder if they made such a huge profit by selling a pig-in-a-poke??
Ferrovial: Was also doing the Warsaw airport, delay cost over run & I am sure others matters, made the Polish/Warsaw authorities passed on the completion etc to a German company.
With the communist standard as a bench mark, things must be really bad.
