What is the connection between this site and http://www.andalucia.com?

I just took a look there and apart from half the users on the forum being the same as the ones there, the layout of the website is practically identical to this one – only the colour seems to differ.

Zero connection.

The similarity in appearance is due to the fact that many forums use the same off-the-shelf technology (comes with the server hosting package). The only thing you can personalise is the colour scheme.

You now use both forums so don’t be surprised if others do to.

If you compare the websites, rather than just the forum section of each site, you will see an enormous difference.

There is absolutely no connection between the two. A lot of forums seem to use the same format. If you look through the info at ADC you can see the people involved as you can on this site. ADC users tend to have more posters wearing rose coloured glasses, more your style 😉

I had a quick scan through the http://www.andalucia.com forum but it leans very heavily towards the Costa del Sol, much like this site does.

I wonder if there’s a forum out that there is a bit more regionalised – http://www.mytown.com or http://www.mycosta.com. Something like that.

Costa de la Luz is what interests me most. Anyone heard of any such forums???

I am a lawyer in Costa de la Luz (Cadiz). This area is still normally developed and things are not that troublesome as in Costa del Sol. That´s why it may be difficult for you to find hot discussion forums as those related to CDS.

Maria, the ADC forum has many members on the costa de la luz, its a very commercial site and mainly only shows the good side of living in andalucia.

Hi njg1225….http://www.myhomeinlanzarote.com not exactly Costa de la Luz, but definitely more “regionalised”.
Pity I can’t paste a webcam pic here…but weather at this moment is clear blue skies, calm seas and a few pedaloes and yachts out there!

No forum on there as such.
But, no harm in letting you know that there are other alternatives to the Costa’s!!

The 2 sites are not related, the main difference is the other one is heavily biased towards some agents who I understand advertise/sponsor it so they delete most references to Awful Estates etc.
