Whats a comparted water well?

      Hi can anybody tell me the difference between a comparted water well and a normal one.

      Doesn’t it just mean that the well is shared i.e. serves more than one property? Or am I being dim?

      Yes, it looks likely that ‘comparted’ has been taken from the Spanish ‘compartido’, which means shared.
