If you mean the Valle Romano just outside of Estepona then I purchased a plot of land there back in the early 90s when it was being first developed as a golf club by a Danish man called Jorg Frandsen. The work started and then the downturn came and it all stopped, he disappeared back to Denmark. I sold the land, at a 50% loss in the early 2000s. Went back to take a look recently. The beautiful view from my old piece of land had been totally spoilt by the monstrous developments of apartments. I did not see too much there that looked attractive.
Yes, that is the one I meant. Sorry to hear that you lost out on your land purchase. To loose money on land in 2000s must be bad timing as the market took off around early 2000s.
