Enoit du Passage, head of Jones Lang Lasalle – a real estate consultancy – in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, says that in Spain there are residential developments “built in very strange places, that nobody wants,” and which “occupy land that should return to being rural” in other words they should be knocked down. I guess he’s talking about some Polaris World developments, amongst others.
He also reports that growing numbers of Spanish and Latin American family offices want to invest in Spain real estate. He claims to be optimistic about investor interest and that “things are going to happen”.
