We want a small townhouse (or apartment) in Olvera to use as a holiday home. Either renovated already or cheap enough that it can be fully renovated within our budget of 80,000 euros. We are cash buyers and can proceed quickly.

      Hi Kaz,
have you tried Olvera property services? the owner Zoe is great, there are only 2 proper agents there and the other is a bit suspect (send me a pm if you want more info)

we bought in Pruna which is only 5 mins away and love it, do you know the area??

      Hi

Yes, we’ve seen loads of houses with Zoe – she’s brilliant! Unfortunately we’ve not yet seen anything that’s right for us. We’re going to Olvera again on 6th March to have a look at some more houses. We’ve been to that area quite a few times now and absolutely love it. 😀

don t blame you, its very beautiful.

we went for a walk along the Via Verde last time we were over and felt so relaxed.
Ronda is only a short drive away and the bridge is amazing (mind you i went there twice without seeing it!!!)

We are over for 3 weeks in the summer and can t wait to get to the Lakes at Zaharra.

Zoe is very good at her job and knows the area very well

Kaz – I have a house in Olvera – Calle Moron – which I am considering putting on the market. I bought it 5 years ago via Olvera Property so also know Zoe well. She has also let it out for us and we have had one long term tenant (12 months) who left in January. We are looking to buy a property with more outside space in Grazalema or Zahara with a view to moving out full time and setting up a small rural tourism business.

Anyway, if you’d be interested the house is 2 bedrooms with a fantastic roof terrace and views over the mountains and could be sold furnished if required. It has recently been rewired and we had the roof re-done in 2005/6. One of the bedrooms has doors opening directly onto a lower terrace area and there is a cave that could be developed for a shady sitting area. The kitchen is small but well equipped with cooker/hob and extractor fan, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is air con upstairs which also provides heat in the cooler months. There are two other rooms downstairs and a bathroom with shower. Parking is easy outside.

I can send you some pictures if you are interested and want to let me know an e-mail address. By chance I was also out there on 6 – 12 March so may have seen you around!
