Can some one tell me the pros and cons of having Spanish residency status. I’m looking to buy a property in Spain. I was talking to an estate agent about mortgages etc. and he said that if I acquired Spanish residency I could get up to 100% loan-to-value mortgage. This is obviously of interest to me because I keep my savings.
Does anyone out there know of any reason why one shouldn’t change residency status from UK to Spain – any reason at all or why one should change? I’d be very grateful for your comments.
