The gloomiest day in 15 years in Spain

      I’ve been living in Spain for 15 years and today was by far and away the gloomiest day weather-wise that I’ve lived through in Spain. Here in Barcelona it’s been raining solidly for the last three days, and today around lunchtime it was almost dark. What light there was was grey-green. Really miserable. 🙁 🙁

      Last Monday and Tuesday on the CDS was pretty gloomy too, cool and grey, and I understand similar yesterday, today and for tomorrow. 🙁

      But on the bright side, sunny where we live in Blighty 😉 😛

      Dont say that, we are flying out from Bristol tomorrow ,maybe looking for some sort of warmth !

      Here in Ronda there is rain today and fresh snow in the sierras, yesterday drove from Granada to Ronda with heavy rain and twice hail, no not Mary ????? 😆

      Yep, still raining today and has been since last Thursday. If you are flying Bristol to Barcelona brace yourselves.

      I think we brought Spain’s sun back to the UK, it’s been sunny and mild where we live since returning 8) 😛

      We have to wait until next week for the Bank Holiday. Having said that, if Banks had taken more holidays in the past, we wouldn’t be in the financial mess that we’re in now. 😉

      After a very windy day here in the South of England yesterday, this morning was cloudy bright, and this afternoon has been warm, sunny and calm for a change, so played 18 holes on local golf course, t shirt weather, very enjoyable too, now having a Blighty barbecue in evening sun with bottle of Rioja, ah ‘perfick’ as Pop Larkin would say 😉 😛
