Hi all,
Hopefully I’m posting this int he right forum?
I’m planning on buying a property in Spain (Costa Del Sol) to use as a holiday home and whilst I’m not there to let out as a holiday rental. I’ve read the great guides on this site, including the information stating that I’d have to do Spanish Tax Returns for the Income I receive on the rentals.
Having consulted an accountant who deals with Spanish Tax Returns I was told that I’d need to do the returns quarterly, and both for myself and my wife (The property would be in joint names), so that’s 8 tax returns a year in total at a cost of £300 each!
Is this correct? Do the returns need to be done quarterly instead of annually as we do in the UK?
Kind Regards
Ben

Yes it is quarterly but £300 each one, way too high.

Are you sure you have to do them quarterly? Is this something which is just for non residents? I am resident and have to do no more than include on my annual return.

Way too much
I use a company in the UK called Spanish tax Forms
http://spanishtaxforms.co.uk/
Way cheaper and very efficient
Good luck

Sandra I’ll take a look at that site, thanks.
