The number of those registered as unemployed in Spain has dropped by 127,248 (2.6%) in June and as such registers the largest fall in unemployment on record for the month of June.

There have now been falls in unemployment for 4 consecutive months from March. Unemployment fell in all sectors of the economy apart from agriculture in which it rose 0.75%. Unemployment in the construction sector fell by 2.56%.

Not according to Edward Hugh on his FB page. Seasonally adjusted unemployment figures increased in May.

If these figures are not seasonally adjust it’s obvious from March onwards monthly unemployment figures will fall as Spain gears up for 60 million plus visitors!
