Spanish Property Transferred to Spanish SL Company

      Hi

      We want to transfer a Spanish property into the name of a Spanish SL company. I have heard it is possible to use the property as capital for the company and that you need to pay 1% to do the transaction plus fees rather than the usual higher transfer taxes.

      There is a small mortgage on the property that could be paid off prior to the transaction.

      The property owner is not the owner of the SL company.

      Has anybody every done this successfully?
