Just to mention that since many expats and presumably locals are very concerned about how their area is being (mis) managed why not put up for election to the local council?

I don’t have any idea what the rules are but sure as eggs are eggs it would put the fear of god into the existing politicians. Someone who comes on here should be able to explain the procedures to get on the ballot paper and local elections systems.

I think its about time some of the local politicos realised that Brits understand the power that votes bring and will do the necessary.

The alternative is, of course to put a local or locals up for election and ensure there is a campaign to oust the lunatics from the asylum.
