Last week I was told by a Spanish friend of mine ( works for an International well respected real estate in Madrid ) that a Las Vegas style resort is being planned in Spain. I did not get a chance to get more details from her. I feel that perhaps the most suitable site would be in Almeria . Does anybody has any knowledge of this ????.

      Hi Shakeel,

      Is this what you heard?

A massive Las Vegas-style casino complex featuring bullfights and replicas of the Pentagon, the Egyptian pyramids and Roman temples will be built in an area outside Zaragoza, a city in northeastern Spain, officials said.

Blawes1: I cant say, yes/no as it was at a party and before I could probe her further, the topic of conversation was highjacked. It looks like a it.

Maseratialfa: I have heard of a Don Quixote based these park from my friends from La Mancha and a similar one near Granada based on the “Nasrid” period. I take such rumors in my stride.

The Las Vegas style is a theme on its own.

Certainly one of the schemes is being looked at again on fears for its viability , due to lack of water, infrastructure ,possible demand etc.
