Here is an insight video into dealing with Spanish civil servants. Very funny and more sadly so true.

It is a funny video. My experience with civil servants in Barcelona has been good. Their attitudes have been great and many have helped me beyond what the are officially paid to do. But their knowledge is sometimes lacking. My experience with those in Madrid has not been so go.
Do not get me started about private business and the lack of customer service, lack of organization, lack of logic and no grasp of reality. I would rather deal with the civil servant in Barcelona than most private businesses.
