Author Posts April 10, 2006 at 10:20 am #51715 AnonymousParticipant I have read that there is a proposal that from 2007, the capital gains tax will be 18% on second properties ( i.e. not your main property in Spain) The Spaniards will pay additional 3% and non Spaniards will pay 17% less. Can somebody confirm ?????. This is good news and I am sure that the forum had been instrumental in its efforts to bring this fairness.
