Spam PMs?

      Anyone else receive what I would term a spam PM today from a user called “pure”? Offering mortgages. Or just me?! Mark?

      Yes, I fear that everyone was sent the same message, and it is a worrying development. I have now blocked the person who sent it, but I don’t think I can prevent it happening again unless I stop all PMs, or close the forum to new users. I’ll look into it.

      Spammers are such vermin, and the fight against them is a constant battle.

      If we dont respond to it. It will make it a fruitless exercise on his/her part. Besides we all know the Halifax Espana has a better product.

      All cost associated in transfering is paid by Halifax Espana not the 50%. Only condition is that you have stay to stay with Halifax Espana for five years

      Before you all jump on me, I do not work for Halifax in Spain or UK, nor am I an Agent/mortgage broker.

      On another forum that I use, they somehow prevent the use of the PM facility until the member has made a certain number of posts on the forum. Maybe you could do the same Mark? Not that it’s really a big problem on here.

      Just like the tele-marketing calls 😡 And they always seem to call when you’re in the middle of something very important or up a ladder! Happened to me twice yesterday.

      I got it too – so am loved. Same spammer on another forum.
