So what is this actually worth?

I made a viewing trip to Mijas in April. As usual, most of the properties I saw were grossly overpriced. One of the better value places I saw however was this one. The asking price was 120k.

It went to auction a couple of weeks ago with a guide price of 90k. I wasn’t there so can’t comment on how the bidding went (Inez????) but as it is not now flagged as having been sold I believe it is fair to assume that it didn’t get anywhere close to the guide price.

The place was in pretty good condition in a five year old block. The only problem I noticed was a small patch of damp as a result of the very wet winter on the CDS.

So if it didn’t make 90k at auction, does anyone have any thoughts what this place is actually worth?

Could be low priced, tiny kitchen etc. It is also not a very good area, Riviera del sol (where the shooting was last week)

There are quite a few for sale there around the 120,000.

Miraflores is not exactly the most glamorous area but at 76m2 + 70m2 of terrace it should still value up to about 135.000€.

I actually am familiar with the development, the main problem is that there are quite a few for sale there and the building/urbanisation is not hte most attractive. If you could get it for 90.000€ its a good price if your looking for a bolt hole

Perhaps Inez can tell us different, but my understanding is, that not on single property has ever been succesfully sold to a bidder at any private auction down here in the past 5 even 10 years.
I have never heard of a single vendor or buyer, or agent confirm that any single property has been sold in this way. There have been auctions after a fashion but never any sales.

Now am off to find out what is this about a shooting? Been too busy working this week obviously, I didn’t know anyone had got shot!

When i checked the link the property was listed as Riviera del sol. Very close to Miraflores but has a bad reputation. Chris where have you been 😉 The shooting was in the Brit papers too. Someone known as big Dan (with previous form in the UK) was shot outside a bar in Riviera del sol. An irish man has been arrested for the killing.

As for the auctions, I too have heard they don’t sell anything. If you are going to buy get a real agent and make an offer.

Just a few pics of what we are talking about for €90,000 (the property, not the shooting)

Drinkers at the Lounge Bar, a British-run drinking spot, watched in horror as he was shot dead in Mijas, near Malaga, in southern Spain on Saturday night.

According to reports, the killer was on the back of a motorbike driven by another man and fired six shots in total.

Smith was shot three times in the face, and the gunman fired three other rounds which missed him.

A regular told The Sun: ‘He kept firing at Dan even though he was on the ground. It was horrible.’

Fellow drinkers dived for cover as the bike sped off and Smith lay bleeding to death on the floor.

Bet those villa owners in the background aren’t very pleased to have those blocks at the end of their gardens!

I wonder can anyone here offer Brianc_li any comparable properties for sale?

Obvioulsy as part of an agency I won’t supply any options.
