You might never have heard of him but his quite famous in Spain. Bertín Osborne is close to selling his Andalusian ranch in Seville Province for something like €6.5m, asking prices was €8m. All the interested parties are foreign: two Mexicans, one Venezuelan, and one Swiss.

He says he will only accept selling his property if he gets what he’s told it’s worth. “One can’t accept four [€m] for something valued at eight [€m]” he told El Mundo. “The minimum is six and a half [€m]”

I’m not sure I follow his argument. And anyway, if he’s owned that property since the 80’s he’d be better of selling today for €4m than next year for €6m, thanks the the elimination of tax breaks for vendors at the end of this year (elimination of adjustment and abatement coefficients on the sale of spanish properties)
