      Blatent advertising..and trying to talk up the market won’t get people rushing to buy when sterling is at it’s lowest.

      I would have thought you would be busy enough sorting out people’s tax without having to resort to property transactions!

      I know someone based in La Cala who does it for a 1000 euro and has been doing it for years. Doesn’t need to advertise he is busy enjoying life and driving around in his new bentley 🙂

      This bloke James Baker is always talking his agency up on http://www.eyeonspain.com purely on a commercial basis with him, he’d probably tell an unwary purchaser that everything was rosy in the market when it’s not, as katy said ‘blatant advertising’! 😡

      Yes James I’m afraid it is rather blatant that you are farming for leads !!! the lawyers I know (not Bentley drivers as they like to keep a low profile) have been hectic for three weeks doing property transactions (only bargain buys). Not to mention litigation which is the new gravy train !!!!!!!!!

      Angie – I don’t have an agency and am not interested in talking up the market or I wouldn’t have written an article warning about the depressed state of the market or a very recent blog post warning against over-optimism on the economy. Also as regards use of this forum or eyeonspain you are wrong – I don’t post promotions for my firm and only very occasionally link comments to my own articles where relevant and I comment on lots of other unrelated things. I certainly don’t use it to start abusing innocent people in public – why don’t you just report the post if it offend you so much or PM me with a complaint?

      All property professionals, and by that I mean they that earn their living) have a vested interest in talking up the market, that is only to be expected.
      That is why I try and urge any investor to do their own research on the ground. Agents are a waste of space, sit down and talk to bankers and those who have been trying to sell for years. Follow the money, its an old adage but true in any market place.

      Bankers are waste of Space as well. They are there because of contacts. Not trained or made to take any decisions and as such dont make mistakes & in turn do not learn or gain real experience that counts.
