Services for buying property and renting property to people.

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any companies that have services that assist you with the entire process of purchasing a house in Spain rather than me trying piece this all together myself and risking doing something wrong or hiring the wrong person.

I would also like to know about renting out the property that I purchase.  I understand that there are currently not new permits to rent to tourists.  My intention would be to purchase but then rent to someone long term – preferably someone local so I know they will stay a long time.  I would not be ready to move to Spain for about 5-10 years.  Would a permit for long term be attainable?

I am looking to purchase in Barcelona.  I live in the United States.

Dear Susan,

you dont need a permit for long term rental in Barcelona. Agencies usually ask for 3-6% from the monthly rental to manage it on your behalf.
