Sant Martí d’Empúries is one of the gems of the Spanish coast.

It’s a beautifully preserved historic village right on the coast with a selection of lovely beaches both north and south. Inside the old walls of Sant Martí are shops and restaurants, which attract a lot of tourists throughout the year.

There are a couple of small urbanisations around the town, with good quality housing all walking distance to a choice of beaches.

5 minutes walk to the south are the historic ruins of Empuries, and along the waterfront there are public gardens and a promenade.

Girona airport is around half an hour away. Perpignan airport in France about an hour.

All in all a superb place for a holiday home.
