I think we’ve been here before haven’t we Mark! An increase in searches does not mean a ‘rush’ of people looking to buy. Think it was the general opinion here when we were last thrown this coconut was that it was a) either owners looking to see how prices are going in their area re. selling their own property or b) depressed dreamers with nothing much else better to do.
“Some agents are offering properties 30 per cent cheaper than in 2007, so there are plenty of bargains to be had”.
I don’t know about bargains, more of confirmation there’s further price drops ahead. I think this article should have posted on the ‘time for some humour’ thread. 😉

The Daily Express are notorious for incorrect and deceptive headlines, especially when it applies to property whether in UK or abroad. They’ve been reported to The Press Complaints Commission which BTW they no longer are members of, strange that, so they often print what they like and in complete contrast to the more respectable papers. They are the pits, they print purely to sell papers to the masses. 😆

Mmmn…………..€650,000 total buying cost. A real bargain? Not. 🙁 Here’s the real senario.
Lazy jurno sitting at her desk staring at a screen wondering what to write and dreaming of the Easter break….
Ah, I know lets say Brits are going to Spain to snap up a bargain. Look for a pretty picture, phone up a money broker, get a comment and voilà, days work done. Editor likes it, so everyone’s happy.
Means not a thing.
