New Law in Spain about renting homes and apartments.
Are Timeshares part of this law?
Marriott has several Timeshare locations and many people that own their timeshares rent them out when they are unable to use them during their use period.
Will this law govern them also.
I understand that Marriott has sent out an email stating that people who rent out their timeshares maybe subject to fines and that Marriott is the only licensed company able to rent out the Marriott timeshares.
Your thoughts on this.
I also have this question and on enquiring at a local (to the Marriott Marbella) Resales agent was told that “they don’t believe that this law applies to Timeshare but are consulting their Lawyers “.
Would you like to compare notes privately?
