Renting out Property and Health Care

      We are thinking of moving to Spain and renting out a property.  We will not get a State pension for another 10 years.  I know that we have to pay tax on the income.  Does this count as employment and entitle us to free health care?  Would we have to pay national insurance on top or is holiday rental not considered as employment?

      BMM, healthcare entitlement in Spain isn’t something I know much about, but as far as I do know you are entitled to use the national health services if you are a legal resident, regardless of your employment status. I’ll try and find out more.
