Rental prices fell 0.1% in May according to Instituto Nacional de Estadistica (INE) data.
This marks the second consecutive month of falls in the cost of renting a property in Spain.
The worst hit areas were Navarra (-2.4%), Murcia (-1.5), La Rioja (-1.2%) and the Community of Madrid (-1.1%). Those which saw the strongest price increases were Galicia (+1.2%), Ceuta (+1.1%), Melilla (+1%) and Catalunya (+0.8%).
