Hi everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

I’m currently looking at some city centre flatted accommodation in Barcelona that requires internal refurbishment that could benefit from ‘redistribution’.

In other words the properties are advertised as 5 bed but would be more suited to knocking down internal walls and creating a more open / spacious 2/3 bedroom apartment.

Does anyone have any experience of undertaking such works and if so, what consents (if any) are requied. I do not envisage any external works, alterations or appearance so i’m guessing that planning permission is not required?
