Recommended Lawyer – Marbella area

Hi all.

I posted on this forum some months ago requesting recommendations in my search for an independent lawyer to act in the sale of my apartment. I was given several names but in the end opted for Jane Moore of Murphy & Assoc. Lawyers in Elviria, telf. 952 850085.

I cannot speak too highly of Jane, she really went the extra mile to cut through the bureaucracy and bloody mindedness of everyone from my estate agents to my spanish bank. I only wish that I’d known about her when I was purchasing my place in late 2004, I now know that you really can’t value a good independent lawyer too highly!

It was suggested to me on this forum that I could manage without a lawyer at all, well I’m here to tell you that Jane Moore was worth every euro cent that I paid to her, if only for the persistence she showed in trying to pay a cheque into my bank account in Marbella (several times) while they came up with endless excuses as to why she shouldn’t do so!

In 3 years of property ownership in Southern Spain I’d come to accept (reluctantly) rude, surly and overpriced service from Brits and Spaniards alike. So what a lovely surprise to find someone hidden away on the coast with a sense of customer service and a conscience too.

Great to hear of some good recommendations 🙂 I presume the person is English? I personally would have reservations hiring anyone but a spanish Lawyer. Not saying its wrong to have someone not a national just a feeling. Congratulations on the sale, don’t hear of many these days.

I have taken soooo much flack regarding this solicitor that was supposed to have advised me so badly.Humble Pie ladies ❓ 😉
Perhaps some on the forum will now reflect that my intentions are to help everyone I can and I can back up the information I post being in contact with Jane everyday who has become a dear friend.

Ooops, looks like I’ve opened a can of worms here. 🙄

I simply wanted to recommend someone who has given me exceptional service, that’s all.

I’m also happy to confirm that I’m not ‘Just Frank’ in disguise as anyone who reads my previous posts will be able to see for themselves. He did give me the original recommendation though and I’m very grateful for that, and equally happy to set the record straight for him on this one.

Relax Jonners – You’ve haven’t opened any can of worms and don’t see anyone here questioning your obviously-genuine post.
