I am looking for who regulates real estate agencies in Catalunya. We paid a one month reserva for a luxury rental – 11 months, and the reserva document clearly says “renewable” and it is signed by the agency. Well, after 11 months, its not renewable and they told me that “anything on that document is meaningless.” I would like to lodge a consumer protection/real estate misconduct complaint somewhere, if anything to make their lives unpleasant. Who knows if I ever get a partial or complete refund (would be nice as I have to move and be very inconvenienced)…. Thanks for any advice.
