      Hi,

      Does anyone have any idea of the property market in Mallorca?
      I am visiting the island in a couple of weeks, is the market stable or is it affected by the slow down on CDS.

      I will be visiting the Soller area, any info would be helpful such as a good local laywer and agent.

      Property in Majorca is extortionate. We were looking at property in the €400,000 mark, 2 years ago. We didn’t want a palace!! just a small 3 bed,lock up and leave place. We found nothing.

      Majorca is beautiful, and I would love to live there. Soller is very pretty. It is popular with the French. Pollensa is also nice but busy. I do not like very touristy places, but Pollensa has a lot going for it. Valdermossa is also beautiful, but with Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta Jones as neighbours, it is also expensive.
