Housing affordability is a hot topic in Spain, so Idealista have calculated the cost (in years of his salary) of the Prince of Asturias’s home in Madrid (he is the heir to the throne, rather like Prince Charles, just much poorer). Idealista value his house at 12.5 million Euros, which means it would take him 135 years of his full, after-tax salary of 92,000 Euros to buy it.
Fortunately for him, it’s all academic as he didn’t have to pay for it.
