      I apologize again for going with a personal matter.

      I can take one week off in April-May to Spain and I decided to try Costa del Sol this time.

      I have found some cheaper rentals near Duquesa Marina or Mijas Costa or Nerja. The apartments are comparable and have very similar prices.

      I shall have a car and I am interested in hiking and seeing/driving to some places,hopefully catching some sun.

      Which one of these places would offer more for an active 1 week holiday?

      I personally like the Nerja area. It’s still quite unspoilt, there are some coastal hikes you can do eg from Burriana Beach and the caves at Maro are WELL worth going to.

      Depends where you go in Mijas Costa but up and behind Fuengirola and Mijas there is a lot of campo to go at – various drives towards Alahurin area as well. From Duquesa you have a lot of campo as well and can also get to Cadiz coastline form there, even Portugal within 3 hours which is beautiful too.
