Pensionable age in Spain??

      HI All,

      My husband retires from the civil service in UK next March and we are intending to move to Spain (we have bought a home in Costa Blanca). My question is: At 60 is he entitled to “free” medical care in Spain or does he have to wait until he is 65.

      It is geared to state pension age so I think you will find your husband needs to be 65. However should you reach 60 before then your husband will be covered by you.
