Has anyone had any experience with this Company (good or bad) and also a Christopher Glover who is on their Board?

They claim to be Marbella’s Longest Established Real Estate Agency – Is this True?

They are part of the LPA whose Chairman is Ian Bateman who recently stated that ‘media stories of corruption, fraud and illegal builds on the Costa del Sol, is without basis’

The name has been around since at least the 80’s but don’t know if it is still the same Directors behind it.

I once did some IT work for Panorama and Chris Clover and found him to be a really pleasant guy.

My personal opinion is that he has a well earned reputation on the coast.

He and his company have been around since the 70’s. So they must be doing something right.

Just my 2 pennies.

Thanks JV, I have also heard of another side to him which is unprofessional and less pleasant.

Do you know how much commission they load on their high end properties? It’s quite probable that people could seriously overpay for these properties now.

Your concern the general public may pay to much commission on a house purchase is very touching. For one moment I thought you were just s..t stirring.

Kingy – a little thing like a punctuation mark in the right/wrong place can make all the difference to the meaning of a sentence.

So glad you found that touching sarah, do you work for Panorama and Chris Glover?

It was a question that has been asked many times because of the lack of transparency with Spanish based agents, no-one generally knows what commission they’ve charged which is included in the purchase price, it’s all very secrative and, as you know even as much as 30% used to be charged by some less reputable agents, so negative equity immediately for the purchasers.

I will confirm that not all agents are extortionate, as today, one has confirmed their commission is 5% which strangely enough I believe in this market, and that from an agent which deals in luxury property, however I suppose 5% of umpteen million is not bad either. Like to hear what Panorama charges though on umpteen million properties too.
