Hi, just to return to an old subject, can anyone help me and my fellow owners of property at Senorio de Roda? some of us are at the stage of wanting to get to grips with the builder and try the OMIC avenue.
The development is in San Javier municipal area, the builder’s hq is in San Pedro ( Lo Pagan is the actual area), so the question is … which area would be the one to lodge the omic in? and do we have to go to the builder’s hq in person ( each person wanting to make a complaint). This is such a helpful website, I know there will be plenty of really sound advice, so thank you in advance.
The builders office must have the forms and I understand they are in triplicate. (Ask for Hoja de Reclamacion) Your complaint has to be written in Spanish and the company has to sign it. The company retains one copy, the OMIC has a copy and you retain a copy. I am sure your local office would be Murcia. Their website is MurciaRegion.com – you could email them.
All the lawyers who post on this forum are on holiday at the moment.
thanks lizi, I hope the localconsumer office is nearer than murcia town hall, surely it should be in the local towns near to the developments? as I said, our problem is that although sdr is very close to los alcazares, it actually comes under san javier, but the builder has their hq in san pedro, so it is a question of which of those ayuntamiento’s do we lodge the complaint with?
