I did! Just visiting, but not really impressed, and after driving around and failing to find somewhere to park, I gave up and moved on! 😀

Well, I don’t agree. We spent one night in Olvera in May 2009, fell in love with the town and decided to buy a holiday home there. We found a house in March this year and we’ve had some work done to it to make it perfect for us. We’ve spent quite a lot of time there and have found the locals to be extremely friendly and helpful and always cheerful. The ex-pats we have come across seem to be mostly respectable middle aged couples but I guess you always get the odd rogue ex-pat ruining a town’s reputation.

Please don’t write the town off. Spend some time there and make your own mind up. The surrounding countryside is stunning, the restaurants serve good, very cheap food and the locals are welcoming and hospitable. What more do you want?

Sorry but I don’t understand your post!

And as for the person who writes the town off because they couldn’t find anywhere to park – well that’s just ridiculous.

I guess he has confused “middle aged”, with “middle class”. 🙄

It came to my attention after a large number of properties were listed with large discounts on kyero. Overpriced then discounted, doesn’t seem appealing.

The kyero discount feature is already being exploited by advertisers, listing at 2million then immediately ‘discounting’ 90% so they appear at the top of the sort order.
