I’m doing some research into non-performing loans in the holiday home / expat mortgage market.
One of the questions I need to answer is which off-shore mortgage lenders made loans to Britons and other foreign buyers (climate migrants, not economic migrants) during the boom? By off-shore I mean foreign banks with just an office here, for example Iceland’s Landsbanki, not banks like Deutsche Bank or Halifax, which are, to all intents and purposes, just like local banks.
Any suggestions? PM me if you prefer.
Thanks
Mark
