Andalucian Dream Homes will be no where in sight when you want to sell on your off plan. That applies to ALL the big agents on the CDS! In the present climate, I’d be very surprised that you could sell it at all. You would certainly not make any profit, probably a loss. My advice would be. …DO NOT BUY OFF PLAN. Buy something that you know is there, you can see what surrounds you and you can put your key in the door. Also that all of the utilities are in place. That way you know the Licence of First Occupation has been granted. I do not think I stand alone in giving this advice!
I second that advice Claire. Until the laws designed to protect buyers are implemented in a more accessible way, buying off-plan in Spain is a huge risk.
Thought as much! I was sold an off plan by ADH with the promise that they would sell it for me “no problem”. Now that I want to sell they do not even have the courtesy in returning my phone calls, there has been many. When I bought from them I really was confident that they were to be relied on. BIG MISTAKE! I went to the development the other day and yes they are still selling the off plans. Wonder how they sleep at night. I never expected to make a big profit, but I would expect a company to be honest and tell me to my face that they are not interested for whatever reason. 😈 😈
We’ve all made the same mistake….we TRUSTED the people we were dealing with. Now I would not put my trust in anyone, when it comes to property. They sleep at night because they have a huge chunk of your deposit money in their bank accounts! 👿
laggen, as both Claire and tilly have said, the large agents are not bothered with re-selling the properties they have talked people into buying from them, and I would try Sarah to see if she could help.
If you pm me, there is possibly another way to sell although in this market it might be more difficult, I’ve had experience of this, might be worth a try though.
