thanks for posting those articles, very interesting, what it means to us though is anybody guess without knowing the direction it will take. We have issues with both company’s, as the first apartment we put a deposit on, back in 2002 never even got started (mentioned in the article)and the one the agents transfered us to still has no LFO, and several other serious breaches of contract.
it was yes, we signed a form from the agents saying we put a deposit down and it never got started, it also said we would be compensated for this. We havn’t even started on this one yet as we are embroiled in several breaches of contract for the apartment we were transfered to, which we think is even more urgent. We have had so many sleepless nights!
….yes, that’s the one. Shame we didn’t go for a refund then, instead of a transfer, we would have found out then that we never had a BG, instead of it being hidden from us untill last year. A transfer to ‘Angel’ seemed our best bet at the time, as it was at least being built and we didn’t want to start from scratch, after two years of being fobbed off!
According to the Spanish press an agreement has been reached.
The British company received Friday 1 million euros in cash and took the commitment, signed before notary by Aifos to give the other three million euros, buildings and the last payment until completing 8.5 million euros.
According to sources Aifos obtained commitment from OV not to give info to the press.
