Obtaining Gas Bottles in Spain

      We will be taking our gas barbeque to Spain but have no idea how to purchase gas bottles? We understand that a licence is needed so would be grateful if anyone could tell us how to obtain one?

      If all the gas you have is for a BBQ then probably better to buy one at the local market. Abt 20€. Not cost effective to have gas checked by a supplier from who you will then get your gas bottles.
      You will have to change the valves…different gas to UK

      Thanks Melosine,

      That’s really helpful as we didn’t know we would be able to buy from the market and as the property has no other gas appliances I wasn’t sure anyone would want to come out to check and issue a licence just for our barbeque.

      Didnt think you would appreciate spending 100+ euros just to check the BBQ 😯
